This is pretty much the highest possible capacity you can get AAA rechargeable batteries in!
I just replaced some 550 mAh AAA batteries with these 1000 mAh ones and there is a MASSIVE increase in usage times for my mp3 player per charge!

I bought these batteries for my portable land line phones as a replacement for a number of ‘own’ brand rechargeable AAA batteries that I had bought that had what can only be described as having mediocre battery life. What a transformation these batteries have made and the battery time is now longer than the original phillips batteries that were in the product. Usually I am sceptical of paying too much over the odds for branded product but in this instance is deffinitly worth it and I just wish I had done it in the first place!

BT Synergy 4100 Dect Trio
I bought two sets of four batteries from Simgold Ltd, to replace the rechargeables in my BT Synergy 4100 Trio home phone system. They arrived within 48 hours of my placing the order on Amazon – and they work perfectly. I guess only time will tell with regard to how long they last, but I could not be more pleased with the product, price and service. Highly recommended.
I have found customer reviews in particular, to be very helpful in selecting products from Amazon – which is why I have begun to write my own – and encourage you to do likewise.

The batteries were bought to replace those in DECT phones that did not last long when the wife phoned her mother. The new batteries last for days without charge even with the mother-in-law at the other end of the phone and at an extremely good price.

A review for battery nerds: Very good price for 1000mAh AAA cells. I was getting poor performance from older cells, with voltage dropping quickly below the 1.2V needed to give a bright beam from bike lights. The best I had were 700mAH Uniross which still delivered half their capacity before dropping below 1.2V; most (admittedly old) NiMH had only 10% of the stated capacity at a good voltage. So I bought these and charged and took lots of readings. First time was a bit erratic (600-800mAH), then charged again and not only did i get 1000mAH but got nearly all of it before dropping below 1.2V. So, (1) it seems it is true it takes a while before for get full capacity, and (2) these are very good. Unfortunately they aren’t the low-discharge type (they don’t claim to be); maybe soon they’ll do that technology in this capacity.
